Hannah & Cody

Monday, December 14th, 2009
Hannah and Cody celebrated their 1 1/2 wedding anniversary just yesterday (December 12th)! I met Hannah and Cody through my dear friend Cassie when she brought them to bible study together at my house last fall! They are adorable, very in love and amazingly sweet people!! Cody loves Hannah so much and it is so evident when you see them together! The way they look at each other and are so in love kind it makes me feel a bit queasy :) They were so comfortable in front of the camera, it’s like I wasn’t even there :)

I will speak no more…just enjoy the pictures :) (You already know their will be commentary along the way!)

This next series makes me very happy! I asked Cody to give me his best sassy pose – and he gives me the pitchfork.. followed by Hannah’s :)

Seriously so cute :)

Love the dip! So beautiful :)
Maybe one of my favorites from the day!

Dear Ms Hannah – you are stunning :)

We did a quick scarf and shirt change and made our way out to Pillsbury Crossing :)

Oh, Hannahbel and Cody – I just love you too :)
This was unposed. They are just THAT stinkin’ cute :)
Did you know there was a bench in the woody trails of Pillsbury crossing?

Oh :)

Yes! Love this one too :)
This is their special “spot” out at Pillsbury where they went rope swinging quite often a couple of summers ago. Hannah said she even got her dad to go rope swinging :)

Okay, enough with the cuteness :)
Hannah’s foot just pops like that! CUTE! :)

Hannah – these next two seriously crack me up! Hannah wanted to run and JUMP!! :)

Lastly, we stopped at their adorable house all decorated for Christmas and grabbed a couple quick shots :)

And I’ll leave you with my first, and certainly not last, silhouette shot.
Mr. and Mrs. – you are adorable. Thank you so much for asking me to document your love and life together! I am so blessed by your friendship and will continue to pray for your lives together! P.s. – you are going to have some AMAZINGLY beautiful children :)

Jordan | Senior – Manhattan High

Sunday, December 13th, 2009
Dear World,
Meet high school senior and rock star extraordinaire – Miss Jordan Priddle :) A couple months back I donated a photo shoot to Flint Hills Christian School in Manhattan for their annual auction fundraiser, and Jordan’s parents were the highest bidders! Lucky me!! :) When Jordan and I met I knew right away we would have been awesome friends in high school! She was energetic, outgoing, talkative, and a good listener – my kind of girl!

Okay, okay…enough with my rave about Miss Priddle – just look at these rock star shots!

Did I mention she sings? AND is going to K-State next fall? Yep…and look at those eyes!

This one above and this one below are fireplace mantle worthy :)

We started our shoot at Annaberg park, then Jordan started telling me about their house – no big deal. Just a beautiful house, in the country, with a wrap around porch overlooking the Kansas prairie lands…yes, please! :)

And check out some of the awesome wicker furniture that just so happened to be on the patio :)

My dear Jordan. You are gorgeous!

And I saved one of my favorites for last:

Jordan and the Priddle’s – thank you so much for helping FHCS raise money by bidding on the photo shoot! I am so blessed to meet such amazing families in our community and am so thankful for my time with you miss Jordan! I wish you all the best with your future plans at K-State – the education department will be ecstatic to have you! Merry Christmas, Priddle’s! You have a beautiful daughter :)

Baby Ella | 9 Months

Sunday, December 6th, 2009
Oh my, oh my! Baby Ella (Elizabeth Grace) is absolutely adorable! Her mom, Kasie and Dad, Josh, were also a part of the shoot for a little bit, but with a baby this cute, and a bow that adorable, baby Ella steals the spotlight! Since papa winter has really, really set in here in blustery Kansas, we opted to do the portrait session inside…which turned out great! They have a beautiful house with a fireplace and a very cute tree :)

Get ready for the cuteness to begin… :)

Oh, boy! I love this one! Ella’s face when mommy and daddy were kissing is just great! :)

Beautiful!!!

We let her roam around the fireplace and she kept looking up at mommy and daddy with this little face. Oh, doesn’t it just melt your heart :)
Oh the adventure of exploration :)

Ella is holding her first ornament in this picture below. It’s a baby wrapped in a peanut shell! How cute!! :)
Love family time together :)
Here is little miss rockstar’s solo time :)

The tongue :)

And I’ll leave you with my favorite one :)

Kasie and Josh – thanks so much for asking me to come take pictures of your beautiful baby girl! She is a beautiful blessing from the Lord! Merry Christmas :)

Finally! The pictures from the reception on Saturday! Rachael and Mike had their reception at Rachael’s church in St.Joe (Church of Latter Day Saints). Lots of Rachael’s friends from high school came out to see her in her beautiful dress and here are just a few of the images we caught from the evening! Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
