Exciting News!!

Well, bloggy readers … here comes the most exciting news for my semester -

I HAVE A JOB!!

I am officially employed for after graduation as a Program Coordinator for the K-State Research and Extension Sedgwick County Office! I will be working full time in Wichita starting May 24! I spent some time today before my interview driving around the surrounding neighborhoods to check out the area and the building is located in a wonderful part of NW Wichita, right next to Sedgwick county park and zoo! It’s beautiful (see map below!)

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement through my time at K-State! I’m very excited to be taking this next step in my career path and towards my future!

Woodward Wedding | Manhattan, KS

On January 23 Jason and Beth tied the knot! After Beth told me their love story and how they met, I instantly said “YES!” to shooting this wedding! (For the full story…click on the old blog post from the Engagement photos here!) The day was beautiful… a sunny 45 degree January day in Manhattan, unheard of! The day was beautiful…filled with love and joy and peace! Jason and Beth’s family were so supportive and encouraging for the Mr. and Mrs. on their wedding day!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Woodward, you are beautiful and adorable and FUN! Thank you for asking me to take your pictures…so excited for your marriage! Enjoy the pictures…I’ve said enough!

New Website is finished!

Hip hip hooray! It has been a long project, but it is finished! Welcome to the new website for Simply Beautiful Photography! I am so thankful for all of your love and support throughout the last year as this business has launched and taken flight Thank you for your prayers, your belief in me and your trust in my work to capture all of your family moments! A huge thanks to Ryan Edick, of ryanedickdesigns for designing and publishing the entire website!

Kyden | 2 years!

This past Sunday I had the wonderful opportunity to do a second photo shoot with Kyden, who is now two years old, in Wamego! His mom, Kristy and Corey, jumped in on the photo shoot and we were able to capture some beautiful Kansas January sun! It was gorgeous in Wamego on Sunday and we spent most of our afternoon outside! This family is gorgeous, in love, and did I mention…they are beautiful? Okay, enough of me chit chatting, just look and soak up the beautiful baby!
