Summer Weddings

Good morning bloggy readers :)

a

Are you getting married this summer or know someone that is? Keep reading, get excited, then pass it on to your friends or family that are getting married in the next 3-6 months :)

a

Well, here’s the deal :) I love weddings. In case you didn’t know this about me, I am a romantic, to the core :) I love weddings – the symbolism, the covenant, the joy, the smiles, the tears…yes, I am the always the one sitting in the pew crying (okay, okay, confession – weeping) when the doors open and the bride comes down and her groom sees her and his face lights up, and they both cry. I’m crying too. It gets me every time. I can’t help it :) It’s so darn beautiful!

In honor of my love of all things wedding – summer, love, flowers, warm weather, and sunshine, I am offering a SPECIAL! As you can see, in the “Investment” section at the top of the blog, my wedding packages begin at $1250 and up (depending al-a-carte). I know for many people (especially college students), that can be at the peak of their budget, and sometimes out of budget reach. So, here’s what I would like to do – if you are getting married THIS SUMMER (May – September), and have not yet booked a photographer, call me or email me ASAP! If you book before April 1st (for any and all weddings during those months) you will receive 15% off your total wedding package. If you refer me to a friend, and they book, you get an additional 15% off! So, the short end of the long story is:  if you book before April 1st (15% off), and refer me to a friend who books me (15% off), you get 30% off your wedding package!!

a

Also, with all weddings out of the country (including Alaska and Hawaii), all you have to do is pay for my travel and 3 nights in a hotel, and the wedding is FREE! :) (Email me for more details!)

a

So, stop reading it with your jaw dropped in utter excitement, and EMAIL me already! Pass it on to a friend!! :)

a

Love you all and can’t wait to hear from you!!

And because no post is exciting unless it has pictures…I have posted a few of the ridiculous pictures my wonderful friend Amber took for me this weekend! Enjoy :) This is me, who I am, through and through – full of facial expressions! :)

(I think in this first one I was laughing at a little kid in a field…or something like that. Who knows…it’s really hard to tell! Enjoy! :) )

Hannah & Cody

Monday, December 14th, 2009
Hannah and Cody celebrated their 1 1/2 wedding anniversary just yesterday (December 12th)! I met Hannah and Cody through my dear friend Cassie when she brought them to bible study together at my house last fall! They are adorable, very in love and amazingly sweet people!! Cody loves Hannah so much and it is so evident when you see them together! The way they look at each other and are so in love kind it makes me feel a bit queasy :) They were so comfortable in front of the camera, it’s like I wasn’t even there :)

I will speak no more…just enjoy the pictures :) (You already know their will be commentary along the way!)

This next series makes me very happy! I asked Cody to give me his best sassy pose – and he gives me the pitchfork.. followed by Hannah’s :)

Seriously so cute :)

Love the dip! So beautiful :)
Maybe one of my favorites from the day!

Dear Ms Hannah – you are stunning :)

We did a quick scarf and shirt change and made our way out to Pillsbury Crossing :)

Oh, Hannahbel and Cody – I just love you too :)
This was unposed. They are just THAT stinkin’ cute :)
Did you know there was a bench in the woody trails of Pillsbury crossing?

Oh :)

Yes! Love this one too :)
This is their special “spot” out at Pillsbury where they went rope swinging quite often a couple of summers ago. Hannah said she even got her dad to go rope swinging :)

Okay, enough with the cuteness :)
Hannah’s foot just pops like that! CUTE! :)

Hannah – these next two seriously crack me up! Hannah wanted to run and JUMP!! :)

Lastly, we stopped at their adorable house all decorated for Christmas and grabbed a couple quick shots :)

And I’ll leave you with my first, and certainly not last, silhouette shot.
Mr. and Mrs. – you are adorable. Thank you so much for asking me to document your love and life together! I am so blessed by your friendship and will continue to pray for your lives together! P.s. – you are going to have some AMAZINGLY beautiful children :)

I had a wonderful opportunity to take some great pictures of this cute couple in Manhattan before I left for the summer and before they move to Florida :)
