Michelle, Jason & Anna

Wednesday, August 11th, 2010

Sunday morning, 830 am, Michelle, Jason, Anna and I met up at the Over land Park Arboretum – it is BEAUTIFUL!! With temperatures soaring past 100 degrees by nine am, we moved quickly. We spent about an hour and a half trampsing throughout the gardens and got some BEAUTIFUL shots! I hope that I get to shoot there again!

This beautiful family of two became a family of three just four months ago – welcome to the family, Miss Anna! :) Can’t wait to take pictures of her once she starts walking, talking and moving :) Enjoy part I of this II part series :)

Wendy, April & Andy – Part II

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

Ok – so you already saw some of the portraits from my photo shoot with this beautiful family last Sunday at their home in Missouri. Now, it’s time for some of the other portraits from our photo shoot :) Wendy turned one last week and she celebrated with a big birthday party on Saturday with her family and friends :) Enjoy some of these pictures with her cute “One” shirt and her fun balloons!

Wendy, April & Andy – Part I

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

This past Sunday I had a privilege of meeting up with Andy & April to take some portraits of their family in their home. Andy, April & I met through Tracy & Matthew (Levi’s mom and dad) a couple years ago on a float trip with a group from church, and it’s crazy to see someone (with no kids!) and two years later with a one year old beautiful little girl! Here is part one of a two part series of some seriously adorable people! (Wendy kind of stole the show, but wait until you see some of Andy & April later – they know how to steal the show, too!)

Enjoy :) And watch out for part II tonight :)

Stotts-Kregar Wedding: Photobooth! (Part two)

Monday, June 7th, 2010

Whitney & Luke’s wedding was gorgeous – beautiful sunshine-summer day, all of their beautiful friends, great family and supportive community were with them to celebrate their day! Check out part one of their wedding pics here!

This time, I wanted to try something NEW! So, at the reception, we set up a mini “photo booth” – where the guests and wedding party could take a picture (with optional props – like the chalkboard!) to leave Whitney and Luke a message – a “digital guestbook” of sorts :) The girls were creative, the kids loved it, and overall I think it was pretty successful! Enjoy a few of the highlights :)

Sampson-Choma Family | Family Pictures

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

I have the sweetest job in the whole world. Here’s what I get to do on a semi-cloudy, perfectly breezy, 65 degree mid Thursday afternoon – I get to meet beautiful families, with amazing children, and super-ridiculously-awesome pictures, and capture some still shots of their family that will hopefully be passed down from generation to generation. No biggie… :)

This family is awesome. Tosha and Kimathi’s son, Isaiah, attends the local Christian school where I placed one of my family portrait sessions up for auction – and they WON! I found out about the Flint Hills Christian School‘s annual auction to raise money for their school for sports, activities for the kids and various other expenses, and I had to jump on board! So, a couple days ago, we met up at this beautiful fountain, that is behind the campus apartment buildings (who even knew this was there?) and started clicking away on one of my new favorite families! Tosha is an english professor at K-State and Kimathi is a Vet – so we naturally had to take our pictures on campus! :)

Okay, okay…done with the talking (for now). Just enjoy this beautiful family – and their firecracker of a son, Isaiah :) Such naturals in front of the camera!  :) Enjoy part one for now…part two is coming tomorrow! :)

Isaiah is trying to mimic his daddy in these portraits, and I thought it was seriously adorable. :)

Beautiful, beautiful princess - so intrigued by the tall grass!
