Emily & Will | Part III of III

Saturday, July 31st, 2010

Whoot! Here is the final installation of Emily & Will’s wedding portraits. After moving the ceremony indoors from the rain, re-making an aisle, the family and friends ate some good Wichita BBQ, moved some tables and threw a great dance party! These folks did not hesitate to kick up their heels, throw dance a move or two, and shell out any spare change they had in their pockets for the dollar dance. Emily and Willy, congratulations again! :) You are a beautiful couple and I wish you many, many years of marital JOY! :) Enjoy the photos!

First Dance, and favorite image of the night :)

Emily & Will – Part II of III

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

So, around 5pm, the rain started coming. The sky started turning a little dark, and as we pulled up the radar, we notice a little bit of light green, followed by dark green, followed by red headed towards this beautiful outdoor vineyard wedding. No problem for this family though! Mr. Youngers and Mr. Meireis pulled some extra chairs in, rearranged some things and made a beautiful aisle for their daughter and son to walk through for their wedding of their dreams! :) And it was still beautiful :) Both her dad and her stepdad walked her down the aisle (which I LOVE!) and instead of a unity candle, they opted for a “sand unity ceremony” and it was beautiful – once the sand granules are mixed together, they will never completely separate – such a beautiful picture of marriage and the pure oneness that God intended it to be! :)

Enjoy these pics of the ceremony …tomorrow = dancing reception shots! Whoot! :)

Emily & Will | Wyldewood Cellars Winery – Mulvane, KS (Part I)

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

3pm Saturday afternoon, the beautiful bride slipped into her beautiful white gown and walked out to meet her prince charming. Glowing from ear to ear, surrounded by beautiful family and friends, rows of white chairs and a beautiful vineyard as a background, things were going perfectly! We started our afternoon with first glances, portraits of the bride, groom, their wedding party and then some family. Even though some rain came just about an hour before the ceremony started, it didn’t ruin anything for these soon-to-be newlyweds! They improvised – they moved the aisle inside, brought some decorations in and went with the flow. I definitely applaud both Emily & Will’s family for bending with the changes so well and making it the most perfect day for Will and Emily! Everything was beautiful…just let the pictures speak for themselves :) Part II and Part III coming over the next couple days! :)

Blencoe-Likes Wedding | Andover, KS

Ashley and Andrew are adorable – seriously – a-dor-able. They dated for only a couple of months, and were engaged for over 2 1/2 years! These two were so perfectly caught up in one another, and it was an incredible blessing to capture these two on their day full of bliss, love and perfect union :) Enjoy the pictures.
