Woodward Wedding | Manhattan, KS

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

On January 23 Jason and Beth tied the knot! After Beth told me their love story and how they met, I instantly said “YES!” to shooting this wedding! (For the full story…click on the old blog post from the Engagement photos here!) The day was beautiful… a sunny 45 degree January day in Manhattan, unheard of! The day was beautiful…filled with love and joy and peace! Jason and Beth’s family were so supportive and encouraging for the Mr. and Mrs. on their wedding day!

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Woodward, you are beautiful and adorable and FUN! Thank you for asking me to take your pictures…so excited for your marriage! Enjoy the pictures…I’ve said enough! :)

Finally! The pictures from the reception on Saturday! Rachael and Mike had their reception at Rachael’s church in St.Joe (Church of Latter Day Saints). Lots of Rachael’s friends from high school came out to see her in her beautiful dress and here are just a few of the images we caught from the evening! Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Page Wedding, Part I

Sunday, November 29th, 2009
Okay, just prepare yourself for looking at pictures of some seriously beautiful people :) Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures of Rachael and Mike Page the day after their wedding. They had their official ceremony at the Mormon Temple in Illinois on Friday and drove back to St.Joseph, MO to have their reception at the church of Latter-Day Saints in St.Joe. We were able to squeeze in a few “formal” family portraits at Krug Park before the sun went down on us Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful, beautiful Saturday. Sunny, not windy and 58 degrees – not bad for late November in the Midwest! Enjoy the pictures :)

Rachael and Miss Martha – you women are beautiful! I couldn’t resist to post this picture!
Rachael’s bridesmaids were drop dead gorgeous! Great dresses! :)
Rachael and her maid of honor, and sister, Becca
Mike’s groomsmen.
All the girls with the groom!
The wedding party. Check out that gorgeous wood wall we found in Krug Park! :)

You girls are pretty enough for a magazine :)

Wonderful little moment between Rachael, her sister and bridesmaid Nicole.
JUMP!
Here begins our portrait session for Mike and Rachael!

Girls, again, so pretty!
The dip!

I really love this one :)
A little series of 4 of many pictures we took in the middle of a downtown street right at sundown. These two are gorgeous and everything about this setting just makes me smile :)

Thanks again, Mike and Rachael for asking me to take your portraits! Watch out for another post later on with pictures from the reception and the awesome dance party!

Sara and Michael’s Wedding

Sunday, October 4th, 2009

Wow! What a fun, fun event! This past saturday, October 3rd, I had the wonderful opportunity to job shadow Erica May and learn about her strategies and creative ideas for wedding photography! Erica’s great spirit and contagious laughter was so encouraging and really helped the day to be calm and relaxed amongst the 700 + guests and bridal party that consisted of over 40 people!! Here are a few of the beautiful shots from Holy Name Catholic Church in Topeka, KS as well as the amazing reception that followed – his family and her family combined to make one HUGE meal, all homemade authentic mexican food, for the 700 + guests!

All of the family members who assisted in the preparation for the big meal wore personalized aprons as a gift from the bride and groom! What a great idea!

Beautiful church!

Thanks again for letting me come along, Michael and Sara! How fun! :)

Jackson Wedding

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

I had a wonderful opportunity this past weekend to fly down to Kaufman, Texas and photography Rachel and Nolan Jackson’s Wedding! They had a beautiful wedding at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, and had their first reception following the wedding in the fellowship hall with a beautiful bride’s cake, and a funny groom’s cake! They had a second reception at a cousin of the Groom’s house where they danced the night away!

Thank you for letting me capture a few of the moments on this beautiful day!
